We automatically suspend tabs after a period of inactivity to help consume less memory and other device resources, so no need to worry about this in Arc.

If you would like to end any particular tab's activity, manually, for any reason you can do so via Help > Troubleshooting > Open Task Manager. From there, simply select the desired tab and press "end process."
