Pinning Extensions

  • You can Pin an extension to make it visible in the URL bar at all times. To do this, click the πŸ“Œ icon next to any extension. Anytime you hover over the sidebar, Pinned Extensions will be in view and clickable.

The Arc Toolbar

The Arc Toolbar allows you to expose your URL and even more Pinned Extensions at all times. It's off by default to provide a more minimal browsing experience.

  • You can show the Toolbar by going to View > Show Toolbar in the Mac Menu Bar.

  • You can hide the Toolbar by going to View > Hide Toolbar in the Mac Menu Bar.

  • To see the full URL in the Toolbar, start by turning on Toolbar in View > Show Toolbar. Then right-click on Toolbar to β€œShow Full URL”.

The Toolbar Includes (Left to Right)

  • Back & Forward Tab History buttons ⬅️ ➑️

  • Refresh Page button, ⌘R πŸ”

  • Copy URL button, βŒ˜β‡§C πŸ”—

  • The URL of your current page. Click to expose / edit, or hit ⌘L

  • Your Pinned Extensions

  • Your Site Controls, including a list of unpinned Extensions

  • Split View Controls
