You can open a new tab in Arc by:
clicking the [+] menu to the right of the Sidebar
using the keyboard shortcut: CMD T
using the Mac menu bar option via File > New Tab...
Creating or opening a new tab can be done a few different ways, both with the mouse and keyboard.
