This article applies to Arc on macOS and Windows.
Arc's Mini Player (Picture-in-Picture) and Audio Player features allow you to continue enjoying multimedia content while browsing. Whether you're watching a video or listening to audio, these features enhance your multitasking capabilities without missing a beat.
Please note that the Mini Player (Picture-in-Picture) and Audio Player will not trigger automatically if the tab playing media is muted.
Mini Player (Picture-in-Picture)
Turn on Mini Player (Picture-in-Picture)
Click away from any tab playing video and you’ll notice a video player appear at the bottom right of your screen.
You can also trigger the Mini Player (Picture-in-Picture) manually by right-clicking twice on the video and selecting Picture in Picture.
Resize Mini Player (Picture-in-Picture)
Simply hover your cursor over the corner of Mini Player (Picture-in-Picture) and drag to resize.
Turn Off Mini Player (Picture-in-Picture)
If you don't want Mini Player (Picture-in-Picture) to play on a particular site go to the address bar, and click the Site Control Center icon. Then, uncheck “Picture-in-Picture”.
Audio Player
Turn on Audio Player
Click away from any tab playing audio and you’ll notice a small audio controller appear at the bottom of your sidebar.
Turn Off Audio Player
To remove the Audio Player from your sidebar, simply click the "X" or close button on the controller.
