If you're looking to browse privately, using an incognito window is a great choice. In incognito mode, the browser doesn't save your browsing history, cookies, site data, or information entered in forms.
To open an incognito window:
On macOS use the Command+Shift+N keyboard shortcut, or click on File > New Incognito Window from the Mac Menu Bar.
On Windows use the Control+Shift+N keyboard shortcut, or click on Arc Menu > New Incognito Window.
Additional Tips:
Incognito Indicator: Always look for the incognito icon in the browser window to ensure you're in incognito mode. This indicator helps prevent accidental browsing in standard mode when you intend to use incognito.
Limitations: Remember that incognito mode doesn't make you invisible on the internet. Your internet service provider, employer, or the websites you visit can still track your activity. Incognito mode primarily keeps your browsing private from other users on the same device.
