How To Use Incognito Mode in Arc Search

This article applies to Arc Search for iOS & Android

With Incognito mode, Arc Search for iOS or Android won't remember the pages you visit, your search history, or your AutoFill information.

To turn on Incognito mode

1. Tap the Plus icon (➕) to open the keyboard and show the URL bar
2. Tap the Eyes icon (👀) icon to the right of the URL bar
   • Note: The Eyes icon will close and the URL bar turns dark to indicate that you’re using incognito mode
3. Enter your search query or URL and the new tab now opens in Incognito mode.
   • Note: Incognito tabs display “Incognito” at the top of the app window

To turn off Incognito mode

1. Tap the Plus icon (➕) to open the keyboard and show the URL bar
2. Tap the Eyes icon (👀) icon to the right or the URL bar
   • Note: The Eyes icon will open and the URL bar turns light to indicate that you’re no longer in incognito mode
3. Enter your search query or URL and the new tab now opens in normal browsing mode.
