How Do You Turn Off https Redirects on Arc for Desktop

This article applies to Arc for macOS and Windows

To view the http version of a website, you need to disable https redirects in Arc’s Chromium settings.

To disable redirects:

1. Open a new tab and enter arc://settings/security in the URL bar
2. Select "No protection (not recommended)"
3. Toggle off "Always use secure connections"

To disable redirections on a specific website:

1. Open a new tab and navigate to arc://settings/content/insecureContent
2. Add your website pattern under "Allowed to show insecure content"
