Arc is being sunset on December 22, 2026. On that date, Arc for macOS and Windows will stop working, you'll no longer be able to sign in to your Arc account, and we'll turn off all Arc services. Not to worry! Many of the Arc features you love live on in Dia, and you can bring your Arc setup along in just a few clicks.
Why is Arc being sunset?
Keeping a browser safe and secure has become harder and harder in the age of AI, and we can no longer keep Arc as safe and secure as it needs to be. Our security team is focusing on Dia, which we built from the ground up to protect against modern-day security attacks. Many of Arc's best ideas already live in Dia, including Spaces (as Profiles you can swipe between and choose whether you want them to share data or not), folders, pinned tabs and the Tab Switcher.
